Caribou High School announces 2012 honor parts

CARIBOU, Maine — Caribou High School Principal Mark Jones has announced the honor parts for the Class of 2012.

Sarae Sager, daughter of Steven and Sue Sager of Caribou, has been named valedictorian of her class. She will attend the University of New England to study biology/pre-med.

Sager was a member of varsity soccer and track and NHS. She is a member of the Maine Dance Academy. She received the principal’s award.

Elsa Thibodeau, daughter of Joe Thibodeau and Lisa Anderson of Stockholm, has been named salutatorian of her class. She will attend the University of Maine and major in international affairs.

She is a member of the Maine Dance Academy and participated in cheerleading, band, chorus and NHS. She received the Social Studies Department award in grade 11.

Kjetil Rossignol, son of Mark Rossignol and Colleen Duplissie of Caribou, has been named first honor part. He will attend Bowdoin to major in liberal arts.

Jin Sun Thomas, daughter of George and Regina Thomas of Caribou, has been named second honor part. She will attend the University of Maine and major in biology.

Demarre Doody-Corriveau, daughter of Shelly Doody-Corriveau and Danny Corriveau of Caribou, has been named third honor part. She will attend Eastern Maine Community College and major in radiology.
