BRADFORD – Norma E. Ewer, 88, wife of the late Robert M. Ewer, died June 9, 2012, at a Howland nursing home after a long illness. She was born March 16, 1924, in Bradford, daughter of Harry and Etta (Chadbourne) Stockwell.

Norma attended Bradford High School and was a former member of the Pentecostal church in LaGrange.

Surviving are a son, George DeWitt and his wife, Brenda, of Auburn; a granddaughter, Melanie Clisham of Winterport; a grandson, Glen DeWitt of Auburn; two sisters, Geneva Sherman of Bradford and Ramona Niles of Bangor; several nieces and nephews. Norma was predeceased by three brothers, Lincoln, Dean and Dalton Stockwell; and a sister, Pauline Speed.

Friends may call 10 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth, where services will be held 11 a.m. with the Rev. David Bean officiating.
