More than 30,000 expected at Old Port Festival

PORTLAND, Maine — The largest one-day festival in northern New England is expected to draw more than 30,000 people to Portland.

The 39th annual Old Port Festival is held Sunday in the city’s Old Port section. It features six stages of music, food, activities and arts and crafts. The event kicks off at 11 a.m. with a parade and continues until 5 p.m.
