PLAISTOW, N.H. — Police in New Hampshire say they’ve seized more than $100,000 worth of so-called bath salts and synthetic marijuana following a raid at a convenience store.
Police in Plaistow say they responded to a medical call in front of Foods Plus on Friday morning, where a woman acting in a bizarre manner admitted she was under the influence of bath salts, an illegal synthetic drug known to cause delusional and violent behavior.
Officials say they returned with a warrant and found the drugs inside the store.
Officials told the Eagle Tribune that local police and the sheriff’s department already had the store under investigation and that criminal charges could be forthcoming.
A message left with one of the store managers was not returned to the newspaper.
