Portland TV anchor  Meghan Torjussen of WMTW didn’t know this little known fact about professional basketball, but soon found out shortly after concluding the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics game ended in a “tie.”

I realize TV anchors don’t all have an extensive knowledge of sports. However, one would think most understand NBA  games, particularly, NBA playoff games don’t end in ties.

The Celtics won that game in overtime and won again June 5 to take a 3-2 lead in the series.
