County towns to participate in meals program for children

Beginning Monday, June 25, the SAD 1 food service department will offer a Summer Food Service Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Services Program and open to children age 18 and under. Advance registration and proof of income is not required. Meals will be served Monday through Friday. No meal will be served on Wednesday, July 4. Presque Isle

• Birch Street Apartments: breakfast, 8-8:20 a.m.; lunch 11-11:25 a.m. June 25-Aug. 10

• Exchange Street: breakfast, 8:15-8:30 a.m.; lunch, 12:05-12:20 p.m. June 25-Aug. 10.

• Ray View Manor, Carmichael Street: breakfast, 8:25-8:35 a.m.; lunch, 11:45-noon June 25-Aug. 10.

• Helen Noreen Apartments: breakfast, 8:25-4:40 a.m.; lunch, 11:25-11:50 a.m. June 25-Aug. 10.

• Zippel Elementary School: breakfast, 8:15-8:30 a.m.; lunch, 11:45 a.m.-12-15 p.m. June 25-Aug. 10.

• Micmac Housing Playground, Summit Drive: breakfast, 8-8:20 a.m.; lunch 11-11:20 a.m. June 25-Aug. 10.

• Riverside Park: lunch, 11:40 a.m.-noon June 25-Aug. 10.

• Presque Isle Pool, back parking lot: lunch, 11:20 a.m.-noon June 25-Aug. 10.

• Pine Street Elementary School: lunch, 11:15-11:30 a.m. June 25-Aug. 10.


• Bridgewater Recreation Center: breakfast, 9-9:30 a.m.; lunch, noon-12:30 p.m. June 25-Aug. 3.
