PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – Charles E. Hobart, 81, died May 26, 2012, at home. He was born April 20, 1931, in Edmunds, the son of Richard Sr. and Marion (MacRae) Hobart.
He graduated from Dennysville High School. He served two years in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and worked in the auto parts trade for more than 25 years. In 2004 he moved to Port Charlotte, Fla., with his wife, Beryl (Howard) Hobart.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years; brother, Richard Hobart Jr. and wife, Priscilla, of Edmunds; sister, Lucy Rae Bailey and husband, Alton, of The Villages, Fla.; daughter, Holly Hobart and companion, Claude Thibeault, of Saco; son, Aaron Hobart and wife, Lisa, of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and three grandsons, Tyler, Jacob and Nicholas.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Biddeford.
