I am thinking she assaulted the wrong person.

Sounds that way. But really what do you expect to happen when your caught in bed with another womans husband??? Did she think the wife would sit down and discuss it over a cup of tea??

Assault is NEVER an answer.. and they were separated….no?

      • Anonymous

No. He told the girlfriend that.

      • Yes, they were seperated.

So low rent.  But I don’t blame her a bit.  She can look back and have the last laugh at her “victim”, the soon-to-be single mom, who probably wishes she’d never met the Arsenaults.

Sounds like a Jerry Springer show!!:)

The husband lied to his wife AND his girlfriend???? NO !!! How obtuse do you need to be ladies???  This is what I never understand….to the people out there who’s husband, wife, partner, girlfriend, boyfriend or whoever has cheated on them…..do you REALLY think that the person your significant other cheated on you with dragged your significant other kicking and screaming to have the affair??  Doesn’t work that way kids.  Be angry and upset with your significant other (that doesn’t mean assault them) they are the ones who were supposed to be loyal and have your back- the other person they cheated on you with (low life that they may be) owes you nothing…..and actually may have done you a huge favor.

  • This is a terrible case of reverse sexism. If a man did this, he’d be in jail – and rightly so!

I’m not sure about that.  If a guy catches another guy in bed with his wife and punches him…find me a jury that is going to convict him of assault.

Why even bother having a trial if Justice Jeffrey Hjelm will just let abusive and murderous women off anyway after they’re found guilty?  How many young men who get in to foolish scuffles or have a drink get in to a car accident get off for “out of character” judgments from Judge Jeffrey Hjelm?  Simply accusing any man of domestic violence by any woman is enough to have him jailed without bail or trial for months.  What is also amazing is how this article ended up blaming the boyfriend for somehow causing this woman’s violence.  The bias against men in court and in the press is just sickening and it needs to stop.

Wait… when did she become “murderous?”

    •  “The bias against men in court and in the press is just sickening and it needs to stop.”

Ya think? Just how do you suggest we go about stopping it?

I can’t imagine why either one of them would want this guy.

      Perhaps he’s a good dancer…

Well, I don’t know why I didn’t think of that!

When this happened to me, my wife said, “Honey, I am surprised!”

I said, “No my dear, you are astonished….I am surprised.”

A true grammar cop never rests.

“The victim witness advocate read a letter by the victim to the court. The victim said she feels uneasy when people knock on her door and arrive without warning. ”
Maybe if you weren’t going to bed with other people’s husbands………….

A man would not have gotten off so lightly if the situation was reversed. This is a travesty of justice. This is sexual discrimination in the highest form.

Nice guy…pity they both haven’t dumped him.

Seriously.  If you go to a married persons home and get caught in bed with said married person by their spouse, expect to get punched in the face & more.  Running to the cops in that situation is just bad form.
