     “said he had been a former tenant of the home. He said he had left some items on the back porch and asked if he could get them.”  Make me think that this man isn’t just someone passing through. He knew that the house had been rented recently and there were things on the back porch. I would start the investigation with previous tenants and their acquaintances. I hope they find this dangerous person fast before he murders his next victim. Once a rapist can not get satisfied by rape usually they rape and murder. They are dangerous people that can never be rehabilitated. 

    I hope this poor woman finds people she can trust to talk to and begin her healing.
