OLD TOWN, Maine — An Old Town man was arrested last week on a felony drug charge in connection with an oxycodone trafficking operation.

Mark “Mikey” Neal, 28, is charged with Class B felony trafficking in oxycodone, punishable by up to 10 years in prison, a fine of up to $20,000 or both, according to Maine Drug Enforcement Agency Division Commander Darrell Crandall.

Neal’s arrest on May 16 was the result of an investigation conducted by MDEA with the assistance of the Old Town and Bangor police departments, Crandall said. He said that agents bought oxycodone from Neal on two occasions in March and that both of the illicit drug transactions took place in Bangor.
