I hope this finds you all well and enjoying the Maine outdoors as I am. As I write this, our neighborhood fox continues to tend to her kits. She has moved away from the original den site to underneath an abandoned structure not far away.
The Essex Street Marsh produced some opportunities to photograph an eastern comma butterfly, tree sparrow, muskrat and the warbling vireo.
I had to laugh at the muskrat as he sat there eating his cover! The snow goose was at Taylor Bait Pond off Forest Avenue in Orono and the Killdeer in a lot just off the University of Maine Forest.
