WOOLWICH, Maine — A loud exhaust pipe led to multiple charges against an Edgecomb man early Saturday, according to police.

Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Brett Strout said Jason Northrop, 34, is charged with operating under the influence, possession of a usable amount of marijuana and possession of an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle.

Strout said the stop on Route 1 about 1:10 a.m. Saturday resulted from a loud exhaust.
