Outlook: Having lost some of their leverage with last weekend’s losses at Binghamton, the Black Bears look to stay near the front while taking on the Great Danes. UMaine has dropped three straight, including Wednesday’s 11-5 nonleague loss at Massachusetts. However, the Bears have taken four straight and 10 of 12 from the Great Danes. Albany has won four of its last six but lost 8-5 to Manhattan on Wednesday. The Bears have a .348 batting average in AE games, but have scored only six runs in the last three games. The Great Danes are batting .309 in conference play and have shown patience, drawing a league-high 40 walks.
