Hope candidates make ballot

HOPE, Maine — With the deadline Tuesday, the ballot is nearly set for the Hope municipal elections.

Edgar Crowley has returned nomination papers to get on the June 12 ballot for the single seat to the Board of Selectmen. The seat is currently held by Kathleen Hastings, who is not seeking re-election.

Brian Powers Jr. has taken out papers for both the Board of Selectmen and Budget Committee but he will only be able to file for one of those seats.

Incumbent Christine Alberi and Michael Bracher have returned papers to be on the Hope school board for two three-year seats. They are uncontested.

No one has taken out papers for the two-year seat on the school board.
