By Ryan McLaughlin, BDN Staff

WATERVILLE, Maine — A Waterville man was arrested early Tuesday morning after police found him intoxicated and with drugs in his possession.

Brian Pelletier, 32, was barred from possessing alcohol due to bail conditions, according to Waterville Deputy Chief Charles Rumsey.

Rumsey said Pelletier had gotten into a fight with his brother on Hathaway Street just after midnight Tuesday, and when police found him to be intoxicated, Pelletier was arrested and charged with violating conditions of release.

Upon being searched, Pelletier also was found to be in possession of a Vicodin pill, earning him a Class D drug possession charge. He was transported to the Kennebec County Jail, where he remained Tuesday afternoon.
