STANDISH, Maine — A 20-year-old St. Joseph’s College student from Bangor died early Saturday morning after the car he was riding in went off the road not far from the Standish campus, rolled over several times and became entangled in a chain link fence. Portland’s WGME TV reports that Clark Noonan was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on Chadbourne Road, also known as Route 35, between Route 114 and White Rock Road around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. Three other St. Joseph’s students in the car each suffered injuries that were not life-threatening and were transported to Maine Medical Center. Police say the car was going at a high rate of speed before the driver, Tyler Hall, 19, of Pittston, lost control.
