ST. GEORGE, Maine — There will be no contested races when residents head to the polls next month.

Incumbent Select Board Chairman William Reinhardt has returned nomination papers to seek another three years on the board. No other candidates took out papers by March 30 to get on the May 14 municipal ballot.

Sherman Hoyt was the only person to return papers for a seat on the RSU 13 board. The seat is held by Don Choquette, who was appointed to the position by the Select Board in September to fill the position vacated by the resignation of Josiah Wilson.

The RSU 13 position is for three years.

The polls will be open 8 a.m.-8 p.m. May 14. The annual town meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. the next day, May 15.
