CLAUDE ‘PETE’ DUFOUR

MADAWASKA – Claude "Pete" Dufour, 65, died peacefully Monday, March 26, 2012, at a Madawaska health care facility. He was born Jan. 21, 1947, in Madawaska, son of Aldric and Alberta (Fortin) Dufour.

He is survived by three brothers and two sisters, Gerald Dufour and his wife, Grace, of Haverhill, Mass., Robert Dufour and Jeanine Lavoie, Charles Dufour, all of Madawaska, Rose Faulkingham of Southwest Harbor, and Susan Robinson and her husband, Keith, of Waldoboro; many aunts, uncles and cousins, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.

A service will be held in his memory 10 a.m. April 3 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Burial will be at Northern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Caribou. For those who desire, contributions in his memory may be made to hospice.
