“It has politics written all over it,” Sen. John Thune of South Dakota, a member of the Republican leadership, said Wednesday in an interview. “Most women, particularly independent women, want to see us talking about economic issues.”
Pure hypocrisy. If that’s true Thune, then why were weeks wasted discussing the Blunt amendment?

Don’t the Dems understand that this kind of political lie is insulting to the intelligence of women? They treat women as if they are stupid. Perhaps liberal women are stupid (Pelosi/Wasserman), but most women see right through these games. Even polls show women losing respect for the Dems, but they keep pushing this crap.  I guess it is better than talking about gas prices.

I think you will see women are losing respect for the Replublicans with all their anti women agenda.

      • Republicans don’t descriminate against women’s rights!

They want to take away everyones!

This exemplifies the Republicans’s war on people, women in particular.

Lots of reasons the Rs are bad people, but not an explanation of why they are against this version of a law that almost always is universally supported.
