PROVIDENCE, R.I. — A Rhode Island-based company and the rock band Kiss are opening an indoor mini golf complex in Las Vegas.
Monster Mini Golf of Providence has developed more than 30 indoor courses throughout the country. Company owner Christina Vitagliano says her interest in developing a Kiss-themed course dates back to the founding of her company in 2004.
The complex will feature an 18-hole glow-in-the dark course filled with Kiss-themed decor and private event space and a Kiss-themed wedding chapel.
It’s a long way from Vitagliano’s first mini golf course, which featured homemade monster decorations in an empty mill building. Vitagliano’s company now employs 18 workers.
Vitagliano and members of the band plan to host a grand opening Thursday.
