SUMMERFIELD, Fla. – Troy Byron Tozier, 42, died Feb. 29, 2012, after a brief illness. He was born March 8, 1969, in Bangor, son of Terrance and Vicki (Morang) Tozier.
Troy was a graduate of Lake Weir High School and a carpenter by trade. He loved the Lord and attended many churches. He loved sports and was always fun to be around. He will be remembered for his big heart. Troy always held his hand out to the homeless and was loved by many people.
In addition to his parents, Troy is survived by many aunts and uncles, Elden and Barbara Tozier of New Hampshire, Paul and Ruth Tozier of Bangor, Donna and Keith Trask of Corinth, Diana and Barry Skolfield of Corinth, Leatha and Marvin Wheeler of Exeter, Debbie and Lawrence Sibley of Kenduskeg, Paula and Bob Dowling of Hampden, and Brenda and Rick Nelson of Millinocket; great-aunts and great-uncles, Hollis Jr. and Betty Ferguson of Eastport, Ronald and Darlene Graves of Wisconsin, Pearl Sheppard of Wisconsin, Douglas and Mary Savage of Kenduskeag, and Helen Higgins of Levant; and many cousins and friends. Troy was predeceased by his half brother, Joel H. Tozier; paternal grandparents, Margurite and Walter Tozier; maternal grandmother, Joyce L. Brooker; great-uncle, Dale Graves; and great-grandparents, Hollis and Maybelle Ferguson.
Friends are welcome to call 1:30 until the time of funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Clayton Blackstone officiating. After the service, relatives and friends are invited to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor.
