GERALD W. OUELLETTE

CONNOR TOWNSHIP – Gerald W. Ouellette, 57, died unexpectedly Feb. 27, 2012, as the result of a logging accident in Caribou. He was born April 14, 1954, in Caribou, the son of Kenneth and Bertha (O’Clair) Ouellette.

Gerald was a 1972 graduate of Caribou High School and was a self-employed potato grower in Connor for a number of years. More recently he was a self-employed logging contractor with his son, Scott. He was a lifetime member of Parish of the Precious Blood Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a third degree member of the Fred V. Brescia Council Knights of Columbus. Gerald will always be remembered for his care and concern for others and his big smile. He married Sandra Levesque, July 19, 1974.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, Sandra of Connor, are his mother, Bertha Ouellette of Caribou; one daughter, Kimberly Ouellette and her companion, Lee Madore, of Caribou; one son, Scott Ouellette of Connor; one brother, Harald Ouellette of Caribou; one sister, Ruth Chamberlain of Caribou; two grandchildren, Zackary Madore and Sean Sadler of Caribou; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth.

Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 2, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will take place in the spring at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
