WARREN, Maine — Firearms were stolen in a burglary reported Sunday morning to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

The house also was trashed, the sheriff said.

The report came in shortly before 11 a.m. Feb. 26. The home is located at 3102 Atlantic Highway, also known as Route 1, in Warren.

The sheriff asked the public for its assistance and asked anyone with information to contact the sheriff’s office at 594-0429 or by email at dmurray@knoxcountymaine.gov. The investigating officers are Deputy John Palmer and Detective Don Murray.
