LISA LYN LIBBY

VASSALBORO – Lisa Lyn Libby departed her young life Feb. 21, 2012. She was born July 23, 1968, in Lincoln, the daughter of the late Gene Libby and mother, Cynthia.

Lisa graduated from Mattanawcook Academy, class of 1986, the University of Maine at Machias, and later received her Master of Business Administration. She was a member of Kappa Eta sorority. She was the program director at NFI Sidney Riverbend for the past five years and was previously the office administrator at Community Health and Counseling, Winthrop. Lisa loved life and was full of positive energy. She so enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an advocate for Alzheimer’s and breast cancer awareness, especially as it touched her family. She enjoyed life to the fullest.

Lisa leaves behind her mother, Cyndy and Paul of Lowell; her partner, Scott Twitchell of Vassalboro and his three children, Alicia, Morgan and Haley; his parents, Ben and Linda of Winslow; her sisters, Leiah Workman and Rob of Lincoln, Jae R. Libby-Folster and Jeff of Enfield, Darcie Ward and Al of Pennsylvania and Jeanine of Wyoming; brother, Terry and Jackie of Lincoln; brother-in-law, Scott Priest of Enfield; nephews, Jarrett Priest, Jaeden Folster and Nathan Libby; nieces, Malloree Workman, Sara Ward, Scotti Ward, Emily Chandler and Jeffrey, and Erynn Libby; great-nephews, Noah and Graham; a great-niece, Rowen; and uncles, David Pease of Enfield, Roy and Betty Libby of Connecticut and Mike and Barbara Libby of Lincoln. She also leaves a very large circle of friends. She was predeceased by her father, Gene; and her grandparents, Searle and Leta Thompson, Elijah Murphy, and Rhoden and Dorothy Libby.

As per her request, there will be no funeral, but a celebration of life will be held 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Waterfront in Lincoln. A celebration will also be held in the Waterville area in the near future with details to be announced. Friends and family are welcome to share life stories.
