The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.  Seems like she comes from a solid background

  • Anonymous

An apple that did not fall far from the tree.
Rosa, If you’re thinking of dumping your husband, I hear John Edwards is available.

    • Anonymous

Good one. The only problem is that she still votes here in Maine so she will always cancel out my vote. Rosa..move to Massachusetts, you could give the Kennedy’s a run for their money.

    • Anonymous

He won’t be around long, has a medical condition.

  • Anonymous

    DANG

The state sure dodged a bullet when she lost the primary.

    • Anonymous

Yep…dodged a bullet only to get hit in the face by a big, fat cannonball.

      • Anonymous

Ha, could of got idiots like Libby Mitchell who has help mismanage the state for the last 40 years or Cutler who’s specialty is moving jobs to China, definately not an independant like me!

LePage is a breath of fresh air, finally nice to see a Gov who represents the working man and woman in Maine!

        • Anonymous

O yea great summery. I hope LePage can fire at least half the states unnecessary employees before he gets out of office. Slash waste and spending and let me keep a little of my hard earned money for once…

      • Anonymous

        He’s fat.

        He’s a cannonball.

He’s taking aim on the welfare rats that are scamming the system.

Keep up the good work Gov.

        • Anonymous

The real rats scamming the system mostly come from either Wah/bash Cannonball’s or Chucky “Cheats” Webster’s offices.  If they want to find fraud, all they need to do is look into a mirror.

This carpetbagger’s policies will only add more people to the welfare rolls.

          • Anonymous

You really have no idea what you are talking about, do you?

        • Anonymous

Speaking of scamming the system, is that cannonball going to hit Bruce Poliquin?  I hope so!

        • Anonymous

was that a lame attempt at being poetic?  FAIL.

          • Anonymous

            EVERYBODY’S A CRITIC!

            I DON’T GET NO RESPECT…..NO RESPECT I TELL YA.

      •  Which one, Mitchell or Cutler??

    • Anonymous

Two bullets.. the state dodged Eliot Cutler as well.  Good Karma prevailed.

    • Anonymous

The family reunions must be great!

  • Anonymous

    Wow.  That’s some family.

Looks like more of the Democrats slush funds from the Baldy administration are comming out from under rocks to the light of day. How many millions of taxpayer dollars were lost in these scams from S.W. Harbor to Madawaska to Portland and beyond. Why are all of these scumbags democrat bigwigs?

    • Anonymous

So ROBert Nutting is a Dem???

      • Anonymous

Mr Nutting was cleared by the state. During the baldacci admin.

        • Anonymous

Hucksters all around? Could it be? Small talent pool in Maine politics, perhaps? Small talent pool in the whole state (yours truly included), perhaps? Could it be that none of us are as bright, honest or educated as we like to think? Could that be a teeny reason for our dismal standing in the good ole USA?

          • Anonymous

            Speak for yourself, Einstein!

        • Anonymous

And he also kept the money he stole from the state, great deal.

    • Anonymous

LOL. And these 61%ers would probably still vote for her over LePage. Stuck on stupid is no way to go through life liberals.
Liberalism: “We know what’s best for you, so do as I say, not as I do.”

      • Anonymous

        Conservatism is a mental disease.

      • Anonymous

That could very well happen in 2014 unfortunately hopefully not though.  Because she has mentioned on tv and talk radio (WGAN, WLOB) that she will likely run again either as Democrat or as a Independent.  She along with Barbara Merrill are the Liberals best chance of getting LePage out of office.  The voters in Maine will forget what has happened.  The 61% folks will do everything they can to get LePage out of office in 2014 even if it means electing her or Merrill which would be their best chance of getting him out.

        • Anonymous

I don’t think it’s 61% anymore. Too many people see how he’s cleaning up Augusta and say it’s about time.

      • Anonymous

Liberals treat dogs as people while
        conservatives treat people like dogs.

        • Anonymous

I wish the Libs in Maine government would treat me as good as I treat my dog.  It would be a BIG step up.

          • Anonymous

Don’t accept your dog’s admiration as conclusive evidence that you are wonderful.  Get a second opinion.

          • Anonymous

Opinions vary, but a substantial majority polled, including all dogs, think I’m a heck of a nice guy.

This lady is showing herself and her whole crew to be a bit more sleazy each and every day. How’d that Cutler hit blog work out for you…Oh…the one which you claimed no involvement in…and then claimed that you didn’t even know what a blog was…and then claimed it was your hubby and your campaign manager…and then emails surfaced showing you were in on it…and then you claimed those emails were taken out of context…and when that failed, you claimed that it was all ok because it was protected speech. Lady, you’re a sludgeball.

    • Anonymous

democrat, sludegball… the terms are fungible…

Three more liberal hacks that are raping the system and lining their pockets all in the name of helping the less fortunate. This is a prime example of the motivation behind the liberal agenda of having as many people as possible getting some sort of assistance, because someone has to deliver the service and or entitlement at a cost to the government and make a killing doing it.
Just think, some people thought that Rosa was Governor material.

    • Anonymous

A lot on the left still do.This type of stuff is normal in their world.

      • Anonymous

Maybe Rosa could borrow Fred Wintle’s gun and corner her parents in front of a Dunkin Dounuts.

        • Anonymous

What would Fred Wintle have to do with this article, other than your feeble attempt at casting a stone to the right? Wintle is irrelevant to anything within the Republican Party or politics as a whole. How he was elected in the first place is beyond comprehension. I do hope as a human being he gets the help he needs.

          • Anonymous

If Wintle was in my party, I tell everyone he was irrelevant too. I hope he gets help too and I hope he has good health insurance.

Is David R. Burns irrelevant too?

Mr Stone thrower himself is giving me advise!  What a laugh!
Are you always a hypocrite or just on Wednesdays?

            semloh quotes:
“Three more liberal hacks that are raping the system and lining their pockets all in the name of helping the less fortunate.  ”

“And speaking of Maine State Housing, I wonder if Dale McCormick is getting a little warm over there, as it seems the heat is getting turned up a bit”

    • Anonymous

…..And speaking of Maine State Housing, I wonder if Dale McCormick is getting a little warm over there, as it seems the heat is getting turned up a bit. Too bad some of the clients of MSHA were not as warm as McCormick, but she spent their heating assistance money on her favorite liberal causes.

      • Anonymous

Leave it to the Democrats to put their snouts in the public trough and take money from heating assistance and low income housing to feather their own nests. They are scum. Dale McCormick and this Rosa Scarcelli woman are the worst kind of people, holier than thou by the light of day but deceptive and devious by night.

      • Anonymous

Don’t worry Bruce Poliquin is going to make sure Dale McCormick hangs from one of the highest trees in his ‘forest’. Unless his forestry plan calls for a harvest any time soon.

        • Anonymous

It seems that McCormick is doing just fine in hanging herself.

          • Anonymous

            So is Poliquin.

          • Anonymous

I can’t argue with that statement. Poliquin’s land issues and his business concerns conflicting with his position within the LePage administration are not very comforting and probably are subject to investigation. He in my opinion should: 1) resign 2) repay to the taxpayers all monies that he saved from the tree growth program. 3) answer to any criminal complaint that may be forthcoming, and finally 4) stay out of any government positions, appointed, elected or otherwise.

  • Anonymous

Seems Rosa does not know much about what is going on around her.Or is it just G.W.Bush is at fault.

    The ScarcelliFiles coming to light?

Jesus H. Gonzales ….. what a tribe of Democrat morons!!

      Nothing unusual here.

They will eat their young if there’s a buck in it.

They also kick puppies, pull the wings off butterflies and worship Satan.

        • Anonymous

          Ya.

If there’s a buck in it.

          • Anonymous

Nope, they do it for the pure fun of it. don’tyaknow.

    • Harry H Snyder III

Sort of reminds me of the Nutting Pharmacy caper.  It’s not Democrats, it’s politicians.

  • Joe

This Republican, might vote for her.  I think she’s hot!

    • Anonymous

Nice going Rosa! and to think we believed for one second you were an honest Italian girl—-ooops

      • Anonymous

        Oy!

    • Anonymous

      I think she’s hottt too.

In a married to the mob kind of way.

  • Anonymous

These people have no right to funds. They are wasting taxpayer money.

  • Anonymous

    Nice family.

  • Anonymous

So I guess two seats will now be opened up around Rosa’s table next Thanksgiving. I figure mom and step dad won’t be breaking break with her by then.

  • Jake_007

Perhaps its time for Eliot to launch a web site called “The Scarcelli Files”.

  • Guest

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree does it? Bad Karma…….what goes around, comes around. These are two greedy, hateful, dishonest, selfish females. What a waste………….I hope they have to spend all their stolen money on attorney fees and come out with nothing!!!!!!

  • Anonymous

     Democrats in business, jeesh!!

    • Anonymous

I agree.  The Koch brothers are my heroes. They really know how to run a country, oops I mean a business.

  • Anonymous

One huckster sues another. Isn’t that what they live for? Next item please.

  • Anonymous

Did she really want her mother “dispatched”?  Around Washington County that has a rather serious and final meaning.  Between playing a part in the Cutler files, and now trouble with Mama and Step-daddy, this women has no credibility as a Maine Values Candidate.  She is coming across as a real scumball, more like the Penguin and “Polo”quin.  I hope her golden parachute helps while she is going down in flames.

    • Anonymous

Don’t worry you Democrats will probably nominate her for a run at Susie Collins or Olympia. Unlike those two honorable Republican woman, she’s standard operating procedure for your party.

  • Anonymous

Let me guess. She will win the lawsuit and they all will split the money.

  • poormaniac

This would make a great horror movie !

  • kennyh

Who’s giving her legal advice, Dennis Bailey??

    • Anonymous

      Whitey Bulger.

      • kennyh

haha .. almost the same thing..

  • Anonymous

This is why I don’t work for family.  Makes family gatherings awkward.

  • Anonymous

I like how you’re trying to change the subject.
Can’t say as I blame you.

    • Anonymous

There is a clear and concise line that I’ve taken in response to others’ statements.

For the record, I was never a fan of Scarcelli, but it’s was pretty easy to see that LePage was the intellectual runt of the 5-way litter we had to choose from in the fall of 2010.

      • Anonymous

So a bright crook would have been better?  Seems like we’ve had about  enough of those in government with Violette and McCormick and almost certainly several players to be named later.  I’ll bet you can hardly find a paper shredder in the office supply stores around Augusta.

        • Anonymous

I never said any such thing. But now that you mention it, I guess a bright crook might possibly be better than the not-so-bright crook we have now.

  • Sue your mother, smooth move. Anyone ever notice that most of the government subsidized low-income and elderly housing is owned by politicians? No conflict of interest there.

    • Anonymous

Try to compete for a loan against these people. Unless you can find a way to slip some of it to the directors, you will get big footed.

  • Anonymous

So, this is what happens when the love of money overcomes the love of family. Nice commentary on where we are heading in this country.

Using Taxpayer money to build an empire. I care (-:

  • Anonymous

This woman appears to be a train wreck. She has way too much baggage attatched to her. I can imagine all kinds of circumstances in which conflicts of interest would be attatched to her.

  • Guest

The article presents a clear picture that the purpose of government subsidized housing is to line the pockets of the party faithful.  It’s high time we closed MSHA and a lot of other  agencies and returned the  money to the taxpayers from whence it came.

  • Anonymous

Well, I voted for Rosa during her campaign, and was saddened by her loss.I don’t know that much about the specifics of this case, but, I do hope that the courts can come to an truthful solution, and the whomever should be made right, is.

Rosa, I don’t know anything about all this, but, hope that everything you’re doing is on the up-and-up, ’cause I really would like to vote for you again…

  • poormaniac

This photo of her is much better than the last in which she appeared to be waving bye , bye.  I noticed her hand outstreached in this one as if she were waiting to have her palm greased… Good choice BDN !
