BAR HARBOR, Maine — College of the Atlantic will hold a swap meet on Wednesday, Feb. 22, where members of the public can trade their unwanted goods for items that they need.

Sponsored by a student group at COA, the Donation Market will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at the college’s Deering Common Campus Center. People interested in participating in the swap meet are encouraged to bring unneeded clothes or other goods in working order.

In order to reduce waste, participants are urged to bring the items they plan to redistribute in reusable containers or paper bags or boxes. Plastic bags are strongly discouraged.

For information, contact the college at 288-5015 or Ana Puhac at apuhac@coa.edu. Deering Common is located at the college’s South Entrance. Parking will be available in the lot nearest the Deering Common sign, or follow the driveway for handicapped parking.
