Bangor Youth Hockey is hosting its Mites Friendship Tournament Feb. 24-26 at Sawyer Arena.
Ten teams are slated to participate, starting with Bangor Red taking on Brewer Black in the 5:50 p.m. opener on Feb. 24.
Other teams are coming from Presque Isle Youth Hockey, Penobscot Valley Hockey Conference and Casco Bay Youth Hockey.
Each game will consist of three 12-minute periods plus warmups, but the games have to be completed in their one-hour time slot, so running time may be necessary for the third period.
