Sheriff’s salute to veterans fundraiser to be held

WATERVILLE, Maine — A fundraiser called the Sheriff’s Salute to Our Veterans will be held Saturday at the Waterville Elks Lodge.

The dinner and auction fundraiser will benefit the House in the Woods Foundation in Lee. Reception and social time begins at 5:30 p.m. with opening remarks by Kennebec County Sheriff Randall Liberty at 6 p.m. The spaghetti dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. and the auction begins at 6:40 p.m. Live music will be provided by Emerald Sky.

There are more than 80 auction items, including lunch with Gov. Paul LePage and his wife at the Blaine House in Augusta.

Tickets are $15 per person, $25 per couple. The dress is business casual. Tickets may be purchased at the Waterville Elks Lodge or at the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office in Augusta.
