CARIBOU – Brenda Munn, 62, passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. She was born April 14, 1949, in Presque Isle, daughter of Elwin and Anne (Grant) Munn.
Brenda was very community minded and took pride in how it looked, and received many awards. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed walking. Brenda grew up in Presque Isle and loved to play baseball as a child. In later years, she loved to play games on her computer, woodworking and doing crafts. She also loved to have a good time and enjoyed children, especially her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by four brothers, Charles of Presque Isle, Arthur of Augusta, Donald of Presque Isle, and Michael and his wife, Valerie, of Presque Isle; five sisters, Shirley Putnam and her husband, Donald, Jean Clark and her husband, Arthur, Elaine Tardiff, all of Presque Isle, Mavis Glidden and her husband, Kenneth, of Crouseville, and Bonnie Ouellette and her husband, Beecher, of Presque Isle; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Gary Munn.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. A graveside service will take place in the spring at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle. Donations may be made to Eastern Maine Medical Center Intensive Care Unit. Online condolences may be expressed at
