WINDHAM, Maine — Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Windham credit union.

Police say a masked man walked into the Evergreen Credit Union at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and showed a black handgun to a teller.

The suspect left the credit union on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and reportedly drove away in a white car.

No one was hurt.

The man was described as being between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall, with a slim build, light-colored facial hair, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
