Camden Snow Bowl announces discounts

CAMDEN, Maine — The Snow Bowl is offering a deal on lift tickets for residents of Knox, Waldo, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, Penobscot, Hancock and Kennebec counties.

During weeknights, the discounted tickets will be $10 from 3 to 8 p.m. During the weekend days, the discounted tickets will be $20 for a full-day lift ticket.

For Knox County residents, the discounts will be on Wednesdays, Feb. 8 and 15 and March 7 and 14; and Sundays, March 4 and March 11.

For residents of Waldo, Hancock and Penobscot counties, the discounts will be on Fridays, Feb. 10 and 17 and March 9 and 16; and Sundays, Feb. 26 and March 4.

Residents of Sagadahoc, Lincoln and Kennebec counties can get the discounts on Thursdays, Feb. 9 and 16 and March 8 and 15; and Saturdays, March 3 and March 10.

The Camden Snow Bowl has 16 trails and glades, three terrain parks and skiing and riding on more than 850 vertical feet. The Snow Bowl also offers two lanes of tubing and a 400-foot wooden toboggan chute on the weekends. Snowshoeing and Nordic skiing trails are available anytime.

Discounted tickets can be purchased at the ticket desk in the lodge. Proper identification is required — drivers license or school identification. The Camden Snow Bowl is located at 20 Barnestown Road in Camden. For information, call 236-3438 or visit www.camdensnowbowl.com.
