FRANKLIN, Maine — Some residents of this Hancock County community will be without power for three hours on Thursday, Feb. 2, while utility crews conduct maintenance.

Bangor Hydro-Electric Co. said the planned outage is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and likely will last approximately three hours. Affected areas include: the back side of Georges Pond, Georges Pond Road, Cousins Road, Spruce Circle, Clean Sweep Road and South Shore Colony Road.

Bangor Hydro must shut down power to the area while crews work to remove tree limbs from power lines. For additional information, customers should contact Bangor Hydro’s customer service center by calling 947-2414 or 800-499-6600.
