Female cancer patients get a chance to look and feel their best

CALAIS, Maine — The American Cancer Society will offer the free community-based national program “Look Good … Feel Better” to female cancer patients in active cancer treatment who would like to learn how to use makeup and skin care techniques to overcome the appearance-related effects of chemotherapy and radiation.

The classes will be held 1-3 p.m. March 17, May 19 and July 21 at Calais Regional Hospital. For information and to register, call the American Cancer Society at 800-227-2345.
