  • Good for him! VillageSoup has destroyed Midcoast news. They went all gangbusters to establish themselves and then bought up papers. Now they’ve cut to the bone and “report” on pretty much nothing beyond high school sporting events.

      Village Soup is the infomercial paper. People to pay to report their news. I misss the Waldo Independent.

    The BDN has apparently forgotten about Piscataquis County. A heck of a lot going on here not being reported. We sure miss Diana Bowley she was a good, hard working reporter.
