GORHAM, Maine — Gorham police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman who robbed a convenience store.

Police say the woman walked into the Big Apple convenience store on Main Street just after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, told the clerk she had a gun and demanded cash.

No gun was shown and no one was hurt.

She fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as being about 5-foot 3, wearing a blue hooded sweat shirt, a scarf and a knit hat.

Anyone with information is urged to call police.
