Things to do Wednesday, Jan. 25: Food


BANGOR — 3rd annual Jazz on a Winters Day, seatings at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at St Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John’s Catholic Church parish hall, 207 York St., to raise funds for Youth World Day to be held in July 2013 in Rio de Janeiro. The menu, prepared by the Knights of Columbus, will include Eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, pastries, homefries, fresh fruit, coffee and other beverages. Music will be provided by Piero Brovarone, classical guitar; Lovey Williams, drums; Fr. Seamus Griesback, bass; and parish youth musicians. Cost is $10 for aduts, $5 for ages 12 and under.
