PALMYRA, Maine — Three people suffered injuries Sunday morning in a two-vehicle collision on Warren Hill Road.

Roger Greenlaw, 51, of Newport was taken by LifeFlight to Eastern Maine Medical Center with possible internal injuries, according the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office.

His 10-year-old daughter, who was not identified, was checked at the scene by ambulance staff but not transported, according to an email to media from Detective Lt. Carl E. Gottardi II.

A St. Albans couple was transported to Sebasticook Valley Hospital with possible chest injuries.

Greenlaw was driving his 2006 Ford van west on Warren Hill Road about 9:30 a.m. Sunday when he drove into the opposite lane of travel while rounding a corner, Gottardi said. The van struck head-on with a 2004 Ford F-150 truck being driven by Everett Graham, 70. His wife, Phyllis Graham, 64, was in the passenger seat.

Roger Greenlaw and the Grahams had to be extracted from their vehicles, according to the sheriff’s department.

The accident is being reconstructed by the Maine State Police but the initial investigation showed that Greenlaw most likely was driving too fast for road conditions, Gottardi said.
