w/ McLemore on the bench the team seemed to play a more inspired & passionate effort.  Don’t read too much into McLemore not playing in the 2nd half though

He didn’t play in the second half when Stony opened with a run and never trailed again. That’s inspired and passionate? Leading scorer and senior leader doesn’t play in the second half of a game the team desperately needs? Looks like we are about to begin another rendition of the annual blame game in Orono? The list of scapegoats is getting quite lengthy. Of course, nobody notices because nobody cares enough to notice.

Were you at the game?  Did you see why he did not play in the second half?  I did not so I will not say it was the right decision.  What I will do is say,  Coach Woodward is not going to bench a senior captain with out reason.   If he was not playing within the team concept or was doing things that were detrimental to the team than he should be benched.

The question marks are there for a reason. And, yes, I was at the game and, no, we will never know why he was benched. Thus, the question marks. We will never know because nobody cares and because nobody cares, nobody ever asks, even though this stuff has been going on for years. All so predictable. That’s all.

Yeah, you’re right. Why bother investing any interest in this rotting carcass of a program? Good advice, Nostra.

  • went to a couple games early in the season against a couple quality opponents.  Maine looked very good and I thought they would do well.  Doesn’t seem like they have recovered from the 2nd half of the BU game.

  • Don’t understand why he’d bench their leading scorer/captain in a game like this
