6 NATO service members die in crash in Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan — The international coalition in Afghanistan says six NATO service members have died following a helicopter crash on Thursday.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.

NATO said in a release early Friday morning that there was no enemy activity in the area at the time of the crash in southern Afghanistan.
