HARTFORD, Vt. — A Vermont police department says a 50-year-old Wilder man apparently killed his mother and stepfather before committing suicide by inhaling automobile exhaust.
The bodies of 80-year-old Robert McCoy, his 71-year-old wife, Keumyie “Peggy” McCoy, and her son Barry Facto were found Friday night after police were sent to check on them.
Autopsies on the victims determined that Keumyie McCoy died of blunt impacts to the head, Robert McCoy died of stab wounds to the chest and Facto died of inhaling the exhaust.
Hartford police were sent to the house in the Wilder neighborhood on Friday. One body was found in the garage. The other two were in the house.
