People who behave this way need to be put away. Unfortunately, many of them end up back on our roads and do the same dam thing again. Our courts must change the way we deal with oui drivers, it’s that simple. But then again we citizens don’t put enough pressure on people who make theses decisions. Until we get more agressive then we will continue to have people killed by OUI drivers.

Thank goodness she will be okay, too bad it had not been him that was hurt, he was too drunk to get hurt…

i think its very rude and ignorant and thoughtless of a person to drink and think they are fine to get behind the wheel and endanger others. i know they wouldnt like it too much if one of their family members were ever in an accident and hurt or killed by a drunk driver, maybe they would think twice. or how would they feel to learn the accident they was just in was family in the opposite vehicle and was all killed? they likely still wouldnt change their ways unfortunately. they all seem to think they own the roads and can make their own laws. sorry for this innocent woman for her injuries she encountered and hope she recovers soon.
i also think those that are caught drinking and driving deserve to have their driving privileges permanently taken away although i am sure that still will not stop them from driving. maine claims to have tough oui consequences but i think they need to be more severe.

She must have had an angel watching over her….& for that matter, tho he may not believe it, HE is lucky too, that he did not kill her. He has no excuse for his behavior & I hope he is held totally responsible for the injuries he has caused this woman, both legally & civilly….
