BATH, Maine — In the wake of eight vehicle break-ins Saturday night and early Sunday morning, the Bath Police Department on Tuesday urged residents to lock their car doors.

The incidents occurred in the city’s north end in the Park Street and Washington Street areas, according to Bath Police Lt. Stan Cielinski.

None involved forced entry, he said. Among the items taken were GPS systems.
