WESTBROOK, Maine — A local man is behind bars after police and drug agents found oxycodone at his apartment, police said Tuesday.
Ryan MacVane, 28, is facing charges of aggravated trafficking in Schedule W drugs, a Class A felony, after police conducted a search warrant at his apartment, Westbrook Police Chief Michael Pardue said.
Pardue said that Westbrook police and Maine Drug Enforcement Agency officers were investigating drug trafficking at MacVane’s Cole Street apartment. In addition to the drugs, which were valued at $1,350, a loaded .40-caliber pistol, ammunition and two stun guns were seized, according to the chief.
In addition to MacVane, Brady Fusco, 22, of Portland and Ben Grant, 26, of Saco were arrested and charged with unlawful possession of Schedule W drugs.
MacVane, who faces up to 40 years in prison if convicted, is being held at the Cumberland County Jail on $10,000 bail.
