BANGOR, Maine — A plane has landed safely at Bangor International Airport in Maine after a cockpit warning light came on shortly after takeoff.

An airport spokeswoman says the Philadelphia-bound plane took off from Bangor on Friday morning and quickly turned around and landed after the indicator light came on.

The spokeswoman did not immediately know what caused the light to come on.
