BOWDOINHAM, Maine — The Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a burglary on Post Road on Friday afternoon. The event was reported at 2:34 p.m.

Lt. Calvin Temple said a resident came home and found a tube and two broken boxes that had contained change thrown on the floor, along with about $100 in change. No money is believed to have been taken. Several pill bottles of medicine for diabetes and high blood pressure had been thrown on the floor as well, but none of those were taken either.

Four cans of Milwaukee’s Best were taken from the refrigerator, however. No other known items were taken from the home. A male, about 6 feet tall and wearing a skull cap, was seen walking down the road near the home carrying a white bag, but he walked across the street and disappeared behind a residence.
