Tim Hortons expanding espresso products and lattes in Maine

Tim Hortons is rolling out espresso and espresso-based lattes in all of its 29 Maine-area restaurants beginning Dec. 19.

Starting at $1.49, the new espresso-based hot and cold beverage additions include:

• Espresso shots (single, double or added to hot brewed coffee)

• Cappuccino

• Latte

• Flavored Latte

• Flavored Latte Supreme

• Mocha Latte

• Americano

• Iced Latte

• Flavored Iced Latte

• Flavored Iced Latte Supreme

• Iced Mocha Latte

The new espresso-based beverages were launched as a result of the growing consumer demand for specialty coffee drinks.

“As the second largest coffee-by-the-cup retailer in the United States, our guests count on us for great coffee,” said Mike Meilleur, senior vice president of U.S. Operations. “We expect an enthusiastic response to more choices on the beverage menu. We watch industry trends closely and adapt our menu to consumers’ evolving preferences.”
