PORTLAND, Maine — A Falmouth man was arrested on Sunday night after he held up a 7-Eleven on Forest Avenue, according to police.

Scott McGuire, 27, of Falmouth is facing a robbery charge, Portland police Lt. Gary Rogers said.

McGuire entered the store demanding cash and “put his hand in his pocket as though he had a weapon in there,” Rogers said.

No weapon was found, and the suspect wound up leaving without any cash. Police found him walking on Forest Avenue and arrested him.
