CARIBOU – George Sprague, 65, died Nov. 27, 2011, in Caribou, after a short battle with cancer. He was born Jan. 13, 1946, in Caribou, the son of Glazier and Pauline (Ayotte) Sprague.
George was most recently employed by Soderberg Construction. He enjoyed farming, bowling, fishing and building things. He was most proud of his current project, The Tractor.
He is survived by his significant other, Margaret Rossignol of Caribou; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Stephen and Nickie Sprague of Washburn and Terry Sprague of Caribou; one daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Kevin Wasson of Castle Hill; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Raymond and Alice Blanchette of Gloucester, Va., and Mary Sprague of Phoenix; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Friends may visit with the family 7-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at Green Ridge Cemetery.
