Seven-year-old Jordan Alberts of Searsport gets a hug from Santa Claus at Macy’s Department Store in Bangor on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011. Jordan suffers from pachygyria, a congenital malformation of the brain. He was one of several Make-A-Wish children who got to meet Santa before he greeted the public on the first day of Macy’s “Believe” campaign, which will visit 26 cities in as many days throughout the country. For each letter that was mailed to Santa Claus at one of the Macy’s locations, the store will donate $1, up to a total of $1 million, to the Make-A-Wish foundation. In the early afternoon Santa greeted the public at the store as he arrived in his tour bus.
