DURHAM, N.H. — Junior goaltender Brittany Ott made 32 saves as the University of Maine women’s hockey team beat New Hampshire 3-0 at the Whittemore Center Friday night.

It was Ott’s second shutout of the season and sixth of her career.

The Black Bears received first-period shorthanded goals from junior right wing Brittany Dougherty and senior left wing Myriam Croussette.

Maine extended its unbeaten streak to six games (3-0-3) and improved to 9-5-4 overall, 4-3-1 in Hockey East. New Hampshire fell to 4-9-2 and 0-5-1, respectively.

Dougherty picked up an assist on Croussette’s goal and freshman left wing Tori Pasquariello added a second-period goal off a Missy Denk assist.

It was Pasquariello’s eighth goal in her last seven games, and she has scored at least a goal in six of those seven.
